Southern tip of Bangladesh, About 100 kilometers from Cox's Bazar. The NAF river flows gently down to the Bay of Bengal. Only 5 kilometers further south and on the other side of the river lies Myanmer (Burma). The NETONG hill in the middle. Teknaf is very popular with visitors for its matchless scenic beauty. This island is about 9 kilometers from Cox's Bazar. During the winter months, it serves the purpose of a base for deep-sea fishing. Visit MOHESKHALI Island
This island is about 9 kilometers from Cox's Bazar. There is a famous shiva temple at a place called Adinath in this island. This temple was built about two hundred years ago. A week-long fair is held here every year during the month of february. Thousands of Hindu pilgrims from all over the country and also from India assemble at the fair.
